It must be dry, clean and without dust, scratches or cracks. In the case of a dusting subfloor (e.g. concrete), we suggest priming it with an appropriate dusting subfloor primer.[/vc_column_text]

After such preparation, you may begin the installation of Pianomat.

[vc_custom_heading text=”We propose three methods of installation” font_container=”tag:h2|text_align:left|color:%23fa9e1c” use_theme_fonts=”yes”]

The first method is installation with a double-sided tape

[vc_column_text]For this method, we recommend using a double-sided tape and the so-called ‘dispersion adhesive’ or any carpet glue. Unroll the underlay and cut it with scissors or a carpet knife. Then glue the underlay to the substrate using the adhesive. After Pianomat has been laid, apply the double-sided tape and lay the previously measured and adjusted carpet lining.

Additionally, we recommend laying the lining perpendicularly to the underlay. This installation method can be used in housing areas not exceeding 25m2, where the carpet lining is in one piece. It is the simplest method of installation, which does not require any know-how or tools.

[/vc_column_text][vc_single_image image=”1385″ img_size=”full” alignment=”center” style=”vc_box_shadow” onclick=”link_image” css_animation=”appear”]

The second method is double bending installation

[vc_column_text]This method is mostly recommended for rooms with an area exceeding 25m2 or if the lining is installed in areas where it will be used with particular intensity, e.g., under contract conditions. This method allows you to avoid the loss of the dimensional stability of the lining.

Glue the Pianomat underlay to the substrate using the so-called ‘dispersion adhesive’ or another PVC lining glue. Permanently glue the PVC lining to the underlay. This installation method allows you to remove the lining together with the underlay at any time without damage to the subfloor, and to easily install a new underlay and lining.[/vc_column_text][vc_single_image image=”1388″ img_size=”full” alignment=”center” style=”vc_box_shadow” onclick=”link_image” css_animation=”appear”]

The third method is stretching

[vc_column_text]

This method is very popular in the USA and Great Britain.
